Book an inspection online direct and you will be sent an instant response with current inspection times available or if these times are unsuitable, you can propose a time and we will endeavour to accommodate where possible. Please note that this will depend on whether the property is vacant or tenanted.
How do you apply for a property?
Once you have inspected the property, you will need to complete an Application for Tenancy for all adults who are going to reside in the property.
You can do this by clicking on the tab which is located on the property page. This application/s along with all required and supporting documents including 100 points of identification must be completed and submitted. We require all applicants to provide current and previous rental references (if applicable), character references, employment history, next of kin and emergency contacts
Alternatively you can click here to download the Residential Tenancy Application Form (see attached PDF). It is important to note that all applicants (or someone on their behalf) must view the property with a member of the SCOOP Property team prior to submitting an application for tenancy.
Applications will be accepted online, or at SCOOP Property 18 Norfolk St, Fremantle between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday or by email.
How is your application processed?
We process all applications in a fair and anti-discriminatory manner, and upon thorough checks present all applications to the landlord for their consideration. It is the landlord’s decision to move forward with the tenant of their choice.
Applications usually take up to 48 business hours to process. This is from the time all applications, along with all required documents, are returned to us until the time the landlord advises us of their decision.
What happens if my application is accepted?
The applicant agrees to take the premises as is with no alteration, additions or extras provided by the owner unless previously agreed to by all parties.
If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up a meeting at our office to sign Lease documentation. Usually this is done within two (2) business days.
Please note to secure the property, you will be required to pay the following within 48 hours of acceptance.
- Security Bond – equal to four (4) weeks rent
- Pet Bond (if applicable $260)
- Two weeks initial rent
